QuadBlogging 2011-12
Today my 8th grade video class will begin their QuadBlogging experience. Throughout the year we will be communicating with three other schools, one in St. Petersburg, FL, one in Nespelem, WA and one in Cornwall, England. Out first activity is visiting the different school websites so the students can get a feel for the type of school and where the school is located.

Greetings to Mr. Limb's 6th Grade Class In Australia
Hi Mr. Limb and class! Well, here is Mrs. Magee's 6th grade class video about why they think America is a great country. We were really pressed for time to get everything done...but next time we will start earlier and have time to really correspond and exchange ideas. Here is the link to our video:

Why We Think It Is Great To Live In America
OK. Here is the video with the students from Mrs. Magee's 6th Grade Class explaining why they think it is great to live in America. This video will be shared with Mr. Limb's 6th grade class in Australia. His students have also created videos. WE are very anxious to see the video clips his students created and to share our favorite recipes.

June Plans
It's Memorial Day and I'm sitting poolside planning the projects for the week. One of the 6th grader classes is working on a video of why they think America is the best country to live. Hopefully, they will begin filming their clips on Thursday so we can connect w/ Matt's class in Australia. My morning TV crew will be filming a commercial for the Atlantic County Library after school on Tuesday. Busy week ahead. Still trying to get the hang of Twitter.

May 2011
This is my first attempt at creating a blog. I haven't really felt the need to create one, until now. My intended audience is still not determined...but I am sure I will find my footing, and my audience, as I learn to harness the communicative and collaborative power of blogging.
